Ron is an entrepreneur, venture developer, and corporate innovation lead. He currently heads up strategy for the award winning D10X, the Citi Ventures internal incubation program for Citi’s Consumer business. D10X helps Citi explore, validate, and incubate new consumer-facing growth opportunities, particularly within high-risk, unfamiliar spaces that are hard to test. Ron originally joined the team as an Entrepreneur in Residence in 2018 before being asked to lead Strategy and Program Design.
Outside of Citi, Ron founded proofLabs, a venture development practice to help Fortune 500 companies build innovation capabilities grounded in measurable outcomes, and help startups launch (or relaunch) products their customers love.
He has founded, invested in, and advised tech startups for over 12 years and was named one of the 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company for his work as a Sharing Economy pioneer. He has deep expertise in "two-sided" and data-driven products and has led digital transformation for clients across industries.
A proud dad and native of Brooklyn, New York, Ron is a vocal Inclusive Innovation advocate focused on the intersection of fintech, local community, and underrepresented founders. He lives in Brooklyn with his brilliant wife, two curious little kids, and spoiled pup Biscuit.
